Becca Caudill & Rebecca Norinne. She is me, and I am she. Two sides of the same coin. Different pen names for the same author.

Only it’s not a pen name at all. For the first time since 2016, I’m publishing under my actual name.

So why the switch?

I finally gave in to the compulsion to publish a new series that’s a bit of a departure from the books you’re used to seeing from me. I describe it as “Hallmark, but make it sexy.” It’s a little bit sweet with a whole lot of heat.

The first installment in a new sweet and spicy series from USA Today Bestselling Author Rebecca Norinne writing as Becca Caudill, BURN FOR YOU, takes the essence of a Hallmark Christmas movie and turns up the heat with added passion and swoon-worthy moments. Expect a curvy, bookish heroine, a lovable firefighter with a very dirty mouth, found family, and all the magical moments you expect at the holidays.

When my world is upended by a disastrous flood that leaves me jobless and homeless, I find myself grappling with more than just the loss of my possessions. With my spirits sinking lower by the minute, I reluctantly agree to my best friend Callie’s suggestion to head back to our hometown for an extended visit.

Stepping back into Snowfall Valley is like entering a different universe. Here, surrounded by familiar streets and faces, I feel the icy shell around my heart begin to crack, especially around Luke, Callie's older brother. He's no longer just the boy next door but a handsome, charming firefighter I can’t pull my eyes away from. The crush I had on him as a kid suddenly feels silly compared to what I'm beginning to feel now.

When a snowstorm sweeps in, trapping us in Luke's cabin, we’re isolated from the world, and our connection ignites, surprising both of us with its intensity. Amidst the howling wind and snow, we find laughter, warmth, and an undeniable attraction in each other’s arms. Each moment with Luke stirs something deep inside me, a feeling I can't quite name but desperately want to explore.

As the days dwindle and I face the inevitable return to Manhattan, I’m faced with a daunting choice. Do I cling to the life I've known for the last eight years, or do I dare to embrace this unexpected love and a new path in Snowfall Valley, one that I never even dared to dream of?
