When I began writing Lucky Star, I had a definite image in mind of what Cameron Scott looked like since his physicality was a defining characteristic of the character - extremely tall, athletic body, chiseled abs, blonde hair, blue eyes, beautiful smile. At the time the only person I could see playing Cameron in the TV or movie version of the series was Sam Heughan (Outlander), but as beta reader feedback came in I realized people had a much different image of Cameron than I did. And isn't that one of the great things about books - we can form our own opinions and notions about who a character is and what s/he might look like?

One name that kept popping up was Charlie Hunnam, who at the time I only knew from gifs (*ahem*) posted on friends' FB pages (don't worry, I've since watched seasons 1-3 of Sons of Anarchy and yeah, I get the Hunnam love). Yes, the man is incredibly attractive and a very talented actor, but maybe because I watched Sons of Anarchy I couldn't see him as Cameron. Cameron's alter ego Xander St. John from The Ties That Bind though? Yeah, definitely. He'd make an excellent Xander. And then one by one, more people started sharing with me who they pictured as Cameron Scott. Names like Chris Hemsworth, Liam Hemsworth, John Krasinski, Chris Pine, Alexander Skarsgard, Chris Evans, and a handful of others.

So let me ask you, dear readers, who do YOU see when you think of Cameron?
